International personalities stressed on Ashraf residents’ rights on the 10th day of Geneva sit-in

On the tenth day of the sit-in by Iranians and families of Ashraf residents in Geneva, political personalities and the human rights activists from UK, Switzerland and Sweden as well as members and chairmen of the National Council of Resistance of Iran delivered their speeches to the protesters. The message of the sympathizers of the PMOI was also read.

Mr. Malcolm Fowler, Lawyer and the representative of British Bar Association, said: “The rights of Ashraf are very clear and obvious; these rights are defined based on the international conventions and nobody can violate these rights including the protection of Ashraf. The US must recognize these rights, and the international organizations must supervise that the protection of Ashraf is provided by the US. “

Mr. Jousta Gross, Philosophy professor from Stockholm University, said:”Considering the insecure situation in Iraq and the conspiracies of the Iranian regime, the protection of Ashraf must be continued by the US forces. According to the European Supreme Court ruling and the UK Supreme Court ruling, the PMOI are not terrorist, rather they are strugglers for the freedom of their country and their rights must be secured according to international conventions.”

Dr. Saleh Rajavi, Dr. Saleh Rajavi, representative of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in France, said: “The mullahs’ regime is behind all terrorist operations in Iraq, and everybody knows that. The Iraqi people hate this regime more than anybody else.
We have gathered here to prevent a human catastrophe and we will continue this sit-in as long as needed to gain our goal.”
