The Friendship Committee of Iraqi Kurds with the Iranian people released a statement and announced: ” We received the news of EU decision on delisting PMOI from the terrorist list; we appreciate the justice seeking and incessantly efforts that clarified the facts in cognition of the real terrorism, the terrorism that threatens the Middle East; we also regard this decision an indication for the legal presence of the PMOI in Iraq who are protected by the Fourth Geneva Convention and enjoy refugee rights, and thus the limitations and pressures on them must be lifted. We add our voices to the Iraqi members of parliament from the Kurdish Coalition who emphasized implementation of the international laws regarding the PMOI members in Iraq.”
