Iranian regime sentenced Shabnam and FarzadMadadzadeh to 5 years of imprisonment and exile to Gohardasht Prison.
The Mullahs dictatorship arrested Shabnam Madadzadeh, a college student from Teachers’ Education University, on February 20, 2009 on the charge of act against national security. On 26January 2010, they tried her on the charges of ’mohareb’ (waging war against God) and having relations with People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.
Shabnam Madadzadeh spent 70 days in solitary confinement in ward 209 of Evin Prison. She and her brother underwent severe psychological and physical torture. Her interrogator had said to her numerous times during interrogations that they had arrested herforher family members and shehad to pay the price instead.
