
In twenty second day of Geneva sit-in of Iranians in support of Ashraf residents, the freedom loving Iranians and families of Ashraf residents rallied and chanted slogans. They also met and discussed with UN officials about their cause.
Mrs. Elaheh Azimfar, member of NCRI Foreign Relation Committee, said in her speech: “The news of your sit-in and meetings and going to international bodies for drawing public attention to the issue of Ashraf protection has been widely spread and has instigated many supports.”
During this sit-in, eleven delegations of sit-in participants referred to bureaus of UN High Commissionaire of Refugees, UN High Commissionaire for Human Rights and representations of different countries in the UN and met with their officials to make them aware of the demands of the sit-in.
