The 70th day of sit-in outside of the European UN headquarters in Geneva started with commemoration of Abdol-Reza Rajabi who was killed under torture by the Iranian regime in Gohardasht Prison on October 28. The sit-in participants vowed to continue their protest until Ashraf residents’ rights are achieved.
Mr. Shojaii, whose 12 members of family have been slain by the Iranian regime, spoke on behalf of the Ashraf residents’ families and said: “The PMOI families and supporters of Resistance will continue their sit-in as long as it is necessary to obtain the legal rights of their loved ones in Ashraf City”.
Representatives of Iranian communities in Germany read their solidarity messages asking the Multi National Force to keep protection of Ashraf City. These communities were as follows:
Council of Iranians in Hamburg
Association of Iranian Graduates and Specialists in Germany-supporters of NCRI
Iranian Artists in northern Germany
Council of Iranians in Bremen-Germany
Also, eight delegations from the sit-in participants went to the bureaus of ICRC, UNHCR, and UNHCHR and informed them of the demands of sit-in participants.
