German human rights figures attended the sit-in to express their support for Ashraf residents

By holding the 56th day of Iranians and Ashraf residents’ families’ sit-in outside the UN headquarters in Geneva, this sit-in entered its eighth week.

Mrs. Gosejacob Rolf, the honorary chairwoman of Germany’s Social Aid Syndicate and secretary general of the German Committee of Solidarity for a Free Iran, said in her speech: “We can not just watch and see that the Fourth Geneva Convention is being trampled”. She called transfer of Ashraf protection unacceptable and something that could cause violation of non-refoulement principle and forcible displacement and a crime against humanity.
