On the 46th day of Ashraf residents’ families and Iranians’ sit-in in Geneva, an exhibition of human rights violation by the clerical regime was set up on occasion of ” World Day against Death Penalty” and a number of members of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) delivered speech. Appreciating the sit-in participants, they reaffirmed the persistence of the demonstrators until rights and protection of Ashraf residents are guaranteed.

The speakers at the sit-in were:
Ms. Nahid Hemmatabadi, artist, member of the NCRI
Professor Bahram Alivandi, artist, member of the NCRI
Ms. Flor Sadoudi, member of the NCRI and wife of late prominent resistance musician Emad Ram
Mr. Hossein Farshid, member of the NCRI
Mr. Alivandi, who had been transferred to hospital the day before due to illness, was applauded by the audience. He said: “I am ill and I was not able to come to the sit-in, but when our youth are in danger in Ashraf, I shall be with you for 20 more years even if necessary.”
