Geneva sit-in continues for its 32nd day

On the thirty second day of the Geneva sit-in in defense of Ashraf residents’ rights, two prominent political and human rights personalities from the Republic of Congo delivered their speeches in support of the sit-in demands.

Mrs. Marie Therese Nlandu, former candidate of Congo presidency and human rights lawyer, said: “I support you and the democratic change in Iran by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi; we have come here to support Ashraf residents. In my view, Ashraf enjoys protected status according to International Law, and this matter can’t be overlooked under the pressures and influence of the mullahs’ regime. The issue of Ashraf is related to all human rights and International Law defenders. We say “No” to Ashraf protection transfer from the US forces to the Iraqi forces.”

Professor Noel N. Nmbala, academician and former labor minister in the Republic of Congo and leader of Congolese community in Britain delivered his speech and said: “Iran has an ancient civilization with deep roots in all Iranian society. Today’ Iran has a pattern like Ashraf City; that is why we have gathered here to do what we can to protect Ashraf; Ashraf is the humanitarian feature of the Middle East and could be a pattern; We support Mrs. Maryam Rajavi; your movement and the women’s role in this movement as leaders is unprecedented. Ashraf must be alive and stable.”
