Supporters of Ashraf and the Iranian Resistance gathered outside the UN European Headquarters on Tuesday, September 13th, demanding protection for Ashraf residents and recognition of their collective refugee rights. On this day, a representative from the France Liberte – Danielle Mitterrand Foundation, a French NGO with UN advisory ranking, delivered a speech at the UN Human Rights Council condemning the crimes committed by Maliki’s government against Ashraf residents and demanded Ashraf residents’ rights to be respected.
