Hundreds of Iranians supporting Ashraf and the Iranian Resistance gathered in Geneva’s Jardin Anglais Square on the 85th day of their sit-in, marching towards the UNHCR headquarters.
The participants held banners and placards supporting Ashraf, along with pictures of Ashraf residents killed by Maliki’s forces during the April 8th attack. These protesters called on UNHCR chief Navi Pillay and reminded her of the UNHCR’s human rights obligations towards Ashraf residents.
