In a session held in Ashraf City on the occasion of Ghadir Feast with participation of more than 100 sheikhs and Shiite personalities from provinces of Karbala, Najaf, Babel, Samawa, Diwaniya, Wassit, Missan, Dhiqar, Basra and Baghdad, the speakers congratulated the victories of the Iranian Resistance in international sceneand condemned the mullahs’ regime terrorist meddling particularly in the Iraqi southern provinces.

In this session, Mr. Abbas Davari, an official of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), congratulated the Ghadir Feast and then compared Imam Ali’s (Shiite’s first Imam) demeanor with the mullahs’ regime’s function in Iraq and said: There is no similarity between the Islam that Imam Ali represented and the one that the Iranian regime and its mercenaries represent in Iraq.

Then a delegation from Karbala presented the flag of Imam Hussein’s Shrine to Mr. Abbas Davari as the representative of the PMOI. The representative of this delegation said: I am gratified to present this flag which we have brought from Imam Hussein’s Shrine in Karbala to the PMOI; a present from Imam Hussein’s shrine to the dome of Fatemeh al-Zahra Mosque in Ashraf

Then the speakers delivered speeches respectively as follows:
– Sheikh Najm Maye’ from Diwaniya province.
– Mr. Munjed al-Kanani, a prominent member of Iraqi poets and authors club
– Sheikh Ali Hussein from Missan province
– Sheikh Ali Hussein from Dhiqar province
– Sheikh Salal from Najaf province
– Muhannad Muhammad from Karbala province
– Sheikh Muhammad from Muthanna province

While the speakers congratulated the Ghadir feast to the Iranian Resistance leadership, they asserted that the Iraqi people and the PMOI were faced with a common enemy in Iraq and that was the mullahs’ regime ruling Iran and its agents in Iraq, and neither nations of Iran and Iraq would achieve fraternity, security and stability unless this regime is wiped out of both countries.
