NCRI, 22 June 2010 – The city of Taverny’s mayor, Maurice Boscavert, issued a statement today in support of the massive Iranian gathering to be held on Saturday, June 26, at the town’s Jean Bouin stadium in support of the uprising in Iran and Camp Ashraf, Iraq, where close to 3,400 opposition activists reside. He voiced support for the participants’ “fight for individual freedoms, democracy and secularism.”
“The City of Peace will host the gathering of the National Council of Resistance of Iran,” the mayor exclaimed in a message to his constituents.
