Following his transfer to Ward 209 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, there has been no information of Behrouz Javid Tehrani and his current conditions. This issue has raised concerns among his family members.
Following the transfer of Behrouz Javid Tehrani along with three other political prisoners by the names of Saleh Kohandel, Mohammad Mansouri and Farzad Madadzadeh from Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison (west of Tehran) to Ward 209 of Evin Prison, there has been no information of their conditions despite numerous follow ups by their families.
This suspicious transfer takes place while Mr. Javid Tehrani is enduring the last year of his 7-year prison term and there was no pretext for this transfer. All the prisoners recently transferred or interrogated are in similar conditions.
