Egyptian MP calls on Baghdad to show flexibility towards PMOI after delisting

Egyptian MP Ibrahim Abdol-Vahab called on the Iraqi government to show flexibility towards members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran after the organizations’ delisting.
“First of all, we must all congratulate PMOI members for the removal of their organization’s name from the US list, and this is what we had demanded for years and was finally achieved, as the result of countless efforts by the National Council of Resistance of Iran,” he said in a statement.
“Residents of Ashraf and Liberty must be allowed to have free access to their properties, and a dignified life in peace, and stability being provided for them. This will be a good response to them,” the statement continued.
“Today, we demand all their rights to be fulfilled and the Iraqi government must show flexibility in its measures towards them,” the Egyptian MP concluded.
