Diyala Province Governor Dr. Abdol-Nosser al-Mahdawi rejected claims made by Iranian regime media outlets based on his call for the expulsion of Ashraf residents from Iraq. The Diyala Province continued by describing these claims as false and fabricated.
“I have always and do today oppose the mandatory expulsion of the Ashraf residents and against resorting to violence and human rights violations against them,” Diyala Province Governor Dr. Abdol-Nosser al-Mahdawi announced in a statement. “I support the European and international solution for Ashraf and this always has been my stance.”
