Following his return from Ashraf, Giancarlo Boselli, deputy mayor and governor advisor of Cuneo-Italy, in an interview described his experience of visiting the city of Ashraf.
Q: How did you find the situation of Ashraf?
Boselli: It is like a camp separated from surrounding area by a ditch and barbed wires. He added, “The Mayor of Valmaggia declared Ashraf city sister of resistance after the mayoralty council and governor approved a declaration in solidarity with the Iranian Resistance. The democratic Resistance of Iran is highly respected by the mayor of Valmaggia and the governor of Costa.”
The deputy mayor of Boselli emphasized in the end that the Americans must guarantee the security of Ashraf.
