On the 19th day of Geneva sit-in of Iranians and Ashraf residents’ families outside the UN European bureau some messages were read:
First, the solidarity message of sit-in participants to Iranian students and pupils inside Iran on the occasion of beginning of the new educational year was read. In this message they described the Iranian regime’s conspiracies against Ashraf residents, and called the Iranian youth to resist against that regime.
The letter of Lord Robin Corbett, head of Labor Party in the British House of Lords, addressed to General Petraeus, MNF-I Commander was read afterwards.
Then the message of Iranian Resistance supporters in Britain to the sit-in participants in Geneva was read to them.
The protesters rallied around Nation Square and chanted slogans in support of the Ashraf residents and emphasized their decisive will to stand to the end until Ashraf residents rights are achieved.
Several delegations from the sit-in referred to the bureaus of UNHCR, UNHCHR, and representations of Holland, Norway and Germany in the Geneva UN headquarter and presented them the demands of sit-in participants.
