The Council of Iraqi National Tribal Sheikhs in northern Diyala and its branches and the Council of Iraqi tribal sheikhs of Kan’an, in separate statements, congratulated the historic verdict of the British Court for annulment of terrorist designation of the People’s Mojahedin Organization o Iran (PMOI) as “Victory of justice and acknowledgement to righteousness and legitimacy of the PMOI” and called it the outcome of the PMOI’s fortitude.

The messages partly read: “This victory not only belongs to the PMOI, but also belongs to all freedom lovers across the world and particularly Iraqi people who have lived side by side the PMOI and have learned from them patience and fortitude.

“We congratulate this historic victory to Mr. Massoud Rajavi, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and all PMOI members in the city of Ashraf.”
