Condemnation of cruel siege in Ashraf and Liberty

al-Madina News, 25 July 2012 – The Iraqi Women’s Organization for All of Iraq issued a statement, of which al-Madina News obtained a copy of, condemning the cruel siege enforced at Ashraf and Liberty. The text of the statement is as follows:
Today, it is completely obvious for all that Iraq, after all of its infrastructure, politics and construction efforts were destroyed, is engulfed in the midst of numerous evil conspiracies with the aim of nothing but annihilating morality and humane values.
Your silence and direct cooperation with Iran, where the Iranian prisoners of Camp Ashraf are suffering from a siege that is unheard of in the history of mankind in which water, air, medicine and electricity and at times even food is deprived of them!!! What kind of human beings are you in remaining silent towards the biggest crimes of not only this century, but all of history.
Iran is implementing the programmed carnage of Iranians living in Ashraf and you accept that, especially the remarks of the UN Secretary-General representative who has for months been stressing and placing his efforts for the transfer of Iranian refugees to a prison in order to gain the consent of the Iraqi government and Iran, or has remained silent regarding the ruthless siege that is leading to deaths on a daily basis.
The Iraqi Women’s Movement for All of Iraq strongly condemns the actions of the government in besieging and insulting the refugees in camps Ashraf and Liberty, and holds international organizations – and especially the UN and US – fully responsible for the hunger, thirst, illness and death of each and every resident of Camp Ashraf as a result of the cruel siege and efforts for the transfer to Liberty prison which lacks the most basic living infrastructures in order to force the residents under the lashes of the autarchies savages.
