Following up what my fellow war criminal Dave Phillips says, and I guess everybody here knows that story that he and I have been identified by the Iranian government as war criminals for torturing former residents of Camp Ashraf together with Leo McCloskey in 2005 (JIATF Commander at Ashraf). Dave was at Ashraf in 2004, I 2006 and Leo in 2009. But somehow we were able to master time travel and we all were at the same place at the same time in order to do atrocities against former residents of Camp Ashraf.
I take that as honor because it tells me that the Iranian government is trying to shut us down and keep us from speaking the truth, and the truth is what the Iranian government fears, as much as it fears the MEK.
I look at all those photos, 52 friends, and I call back the memories that we had and they were countless, and a lot of personal satisfaction and a lot of pleasure dealing with them. And then, late night August 31st, I get a call from Paris that my friends, my brothers and sisters at Ashraf are being murdered.
From the berm on the north side of the camp, from the Iraqi camp, came the attackers, wearing the uniform of Maliki’s SWAT team, using the tactics they had to get from Americans, they came weaver-stand-slow-ready. The photos of the C4, that was not detonated and left behind for whatever reason the Iraqis didn’t do it, under the watchful eye of the Iraqi guard towers, took 7 hostages, spent 2 hours going blowing up equipment, murdering people, and then they went back to the Iraqi side of the compound. The State Department immediately came out saying no evidence the Iraqi government is involved. That is worse than the old cliché about the ostrich putting his head in the sand.
The American administration tied themselves to Nouri al-Maliki. As mentioned already in Camp Liberty, there is tyranny again. They are not getting food, fuel or medicines. The blackwater is being from leaving the camp. Tyranny once again, and yet again, just like our president said a couple of days ago, we have no strategy concerning Syria, they have no strategy concerning Iraq.
We have got to continue the work, continue to address the truth, let the media know, let the world know. Freedom will come to Iran, and we will all be together when it comes.
