Supporters of the PMOI and Iranian Resistance, on Saturday, November 20, staged a demonstration in Toronto in support of the heroic Ashraf residents. The protesters chanted pounding slogans against the continuation of the inhumane blockade against Ashraf by the Maliki government and Iranian regime. The freedom loving Iranians angrily chanted against the intensification of cruel medical restrictions against the residents of Ashraf and the prevention of the transfer of terminally ill patients to hospitals and the Iraqi forces’ prevention of their surgeries, especially hindering the transfer of Ms. ElhamFardipour to a hospital for receive treatment.
In the end, the demonstrators announced that the protection of Ashraf must be safeguarded by the UN and UNAMI, and these organizations must end to the psychological torture of the camp’s residents and the conspiracies of the Maliki government.
