A big parliamentary session in Italy was held to discuss and review the crisis in Iran. The session was held in one of the Italian Parliament’s halls and was participated by the members of Italian Parliament and a delegation of the Iranian Resistance.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, in a message to this session, said: In order to evade the overthrow of their regime, the mullahs fight against the Iranian people. They also fight against the world community. The nuclear production program, extensive killings and crimes in Iraq in order to devour it, spreading out terror and fundamentalism through Lebanon, Palestine, Afghanistan and other countries are indications of such a war. They have compelled the world to face a big crisis.

Rejecting any appeasement and foreign war options, Mrs. Rajavi said: We say that the world is not bound to choose between these two options. The right and effective alternative is the third alternative which is the democratic change by the Iranian people and Resistance. Instead of keeping a rotten regime, which is the source of war and crisis, the Iranian people and their demands for the regime’s change should be respected.

In their speeches against the anti-human crisis creator mullahs’ regime, the Italian parliament representatives from different parties supported Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s solution for democratic change in Iran by the Iranian people and Iranian Resistance. Antonio Stango, the head of the “Helsinki Watch” international organization said: “Italy and Italian Republic was created through its fight against fascism. We have to support those who struggle against fascism by all means.”
