International Reporter, 30 Sep 2013 – An urgent action needed by UN Secy. Gen Ban Ki-moon to rescue 7 hostages: September 30, 2013- News and Analysis by Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, on the ill fate of 7 unfortunate, innocent refugees of Ashraf Camp, Baghdad, who are now under the captivity of Iraqi Govt. who are continuously torturing them, see the irony of fate, six of them are women. How do you like to feel concern about it?
Thereafter Iraqi’s final plan is to transfer them to Iran for total assassination.
These 7 hostages were taken after the horrifying attack on the residents of Camp Ashraf on September 1st, where the Iraqi forces had killed 52 persons of Ashraf Camp for no fault of theirs except that they were recognized refugees. Their hands were tied from the back and were shot at and mercilessly killed with no conscience of human consideration.
The most vital point is to investigate thoroughly, the failure to prevent this attack which left 52 dead and 7 hostages captured by the Iraqi govt. for torturing and finally to send to Iran for their ultimate decimation.
God Believers Association (GBA), which was formerly known as National Integration Assembly (NIA), dedicated to human rights and world peace among other social commitments, urge Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations, to press the Government of Iraq (Gol) to cooperate fully with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq in investigating these events.
All persons of the Iraqi forces, who undertook the job of butchers and killed 52 innocent members of the Ashraf Camp should be brought to justice. They crossed all barriers of inhumanity and killed 52 innocent refugees of Ashraf Camp and took 7 hostages which include 6 women.
Justice is a must for them which the GBA seek, and feel that Mr. Ban Ki-Moon , is the last hope of the humanity, who shall come into action and act for urgent justice.
The fate of the seven Camp Ashraf residents missing since the attack is also of great concern for the world, who know the human values. In a 19 September 2013 letter, Hon. Catherine Ashton, the European Commission’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security, alleged that there was reason to believe that these individuals were being detained near Baghdad and were at risk of being transferred to Iran.
The Iraqi government intends to extradite them to Iran, where they’ll be further tortured and executed.
I, as humble President of GBA feel that United States and United Nations can’t escape their responsibility; they are the only hope in the world to deal with the hard core criminals of the humanity and to get saved and released 7 hostages at the top most priority; the US and UN, particularly Mr. Ban Ki-Moon must intervene immediately to get the hostages released and get the blessings of Almighty God.
At present, the 7 hostages are transferred to “Sharaf” prison behind the Prime Ministry building at Baghdad Green Zone, and everyday new evidences support this news.
The only way available to release the hostages is to put pressure on Maliki’s government by the United Nations, the US and EU, and to press for visiting this prison. Otherwise they will be extradited to the Iranian regime.
Any visit to this prison is prohibited, but elements of terrorist Quds force and Iranian embassy frequently visit the prison, and they are facilitating to receive the hostages from Iraqi Government.
The Govt of Iraq (GoI) must be held responsible for the assassination and the massacre of 52 unarmed innocent residents at Camp Ashraf.
Furthermore it is incumbent on the international community to make all necessary representations to the GoI to immediately release seven hostages, kidnapped during the Sept. 1 attacks, six of whom are women. These hostages must be released without delay.
Only with the immediate deployment of U.N. peacekeepers and a U.S. monitoring team at Camp Liberty, can assure of the safety of the surviving camp residents.
The whole world is anxiously waiting for Mr. Ki-moon’s immediate action in this humanitarian cause of saving the lives of 7 hostages of Camp Ashraf.
At the same time, The UN should ensure that Iraqi Govt. should not expand their tendency of mass massacre of defenseless members of Liberty Camp, which is also at the high risk at the hands of the Iraqi Govt.
The world now sincerely hope that UN action shall take the swiftest action to protect the human rights by getting 7 innocent Ashraf Camp hostages released, who are at the highest risk of death.
The following are also kept informed:
Baroness Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,US Secretary of State John Kerry,
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, and UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres
