U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in statement issued by his spokesman expressed Gratitude for Successful Relocation of Camp Liberty Residents. He thanked member states and international organizations for “the successful resolution of this humanitarian issue,”.
The Secretary-General notes with satisfaction the completion of the relocation of more than 3,000 Camp Liberty residents. He conveyed his gratitude to the Member States and international organizations that supported these efforts.
