Australian political and human rights figures condemn Iranian regime for violation of human rights, support PMOI

Grave violation of human rights in Iran was condemned by a number of Australian members of the parliament and political and humanitarian personalities in a gathering in Sydney- Australia; the speakers in the meeting expressed their support for the PMOI and Iranian Resistance.

Member of the Australian Parliament from Labor Party, Larry Ferguson condemned the Iranian regime’s brutality against Iranian people and underlined the necessity of support for the PMOI and Iranian resistance.

Referring to the recent statement by the Australian parliament in condemning the violation of human rights by the mullahs’ regime in Iran, Mrs. Silvia Hill, MP from New South Wales, said: the issue of that statement was first of all because of activities of supporters of Iranian resistance in revealing the grave situation in Iran and we believe the rights of the Iranian resistance and PMOI must be defended.

The head of Ferguson Foundation, Peter Murphy referring to the British court ruling said the POAC court verdict is another reason for the legitimacy of the PMOI. He expressed his hope for immediate removal of the PMOI from the terrorist lists based on the judgments of the European Court of Justice and the POAC. He added “we must let the PMOI continue its relentless fight against the hateful regime of the mullahs to achieve Iranian people’s just demands.”
