Ilaf Website, 3 Nov 2011 – In all prisons around the world relatives of inmates are allowed to meet them once a week, and in some prisons the inmates are allowed to have private meetings with their spouses and children. However, from 2009 Camp Ashraf has become a prison that does not allow its residents – numbering at over 3400 men, women and children – to exit from the camp, and this camp has become a large prison from all walks of life.
Now, everyone knows that the problem is the Tehran’s mullahs regime, and its accomplice the Maliki government in Baghdad, that are seeking to forcefully and violently expel Ashraf residents from their camp. At a time when a wave of condemnations and criticism regarding the brutal crackdown of Camp Ashraf and illegal deadline to close the camp is on the rise, the Iranian regime’s mission in Baghdad – in coordination with the Iraqi Prime Ministry – intends to stage a new show against the residents of Ashraf City. The objective is to turn the demand of expelling Ashraf residents from a government issue to a popular issue. According to this plan it has been arranged for a number of the mullahs’ hired agents to stage a sit-in at Camp Ashraf’s entrance as “Iraqis who have suffered harm and damage from the PMOI”. This is aimed at paving the path to carry out new terrorist attacks against Ashraf residents. The motive of these hired agents are to hold pictures of people who they claim have been killed by PMOI members, and they are to bring elderly men and women under the pretext of victims’ families, all to instigate the feelings of others who are not fond of this show to appear.
Based on reports obtained by the Iranian Resistance from inside the clerical regime, this plan has been approved by a branch of the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) known as the “Habilian Association” led by Mohammad Javad Hashi-nezhad. Briefings and orders on this issue have been presented by two Iranian regime intelligence agents.
To carry out this new show, the Iraqi forces who have surrounded Camp Ashraf have taken many measures in cooperation with those dispatched by the MOIS.
These measures include:
First: kidnapping the corpse of “Zahra Hosseini Mehr-Sefat” in a hospital in Baquba and refusing to hand over the body to her relatives in Camp Ashraf despite the efforts of her family and Ashraf residents’ lawyers.
Second: MOIS agents will begin their remarks each day with deceptive compassionate remarks, encouraging Camp Ashraf residents to flee the camp. When the camp’s youth don’t show any response, they will begin threatening them and say “We will kill you all”. Also, they will throw papers and computer CDs inside the camp inviting the residents to flee the camp. These documents and CDs will also have news in the framework of psychological warfare.
Third: Confiscating Ashraf residents’ needs by Iraqi forces at the checkpoint despite the residents’ protests
Fourth: Dispatching officers to the camp that the residents have in the past known for their brutality, hatred and willingness to commit new killing sprees. Based on PMOI information, Lieutenant (Heydar Azzab Mashi) has been dispatched to the unit stationed around the camp and he is among the individuals summoned by the Spanish National Court on his role in the previous massacre of Ashraf residents.
Ashraf residents have responded to all these instigating measures with complete calm and patience so the forces around the camp and MOIS will not be able to lure them into small conflicts to gain a pretext for new attack against the camp and a new killing spree.
These measures and what will take place on the verge of the end of the current year for the expulsion of Camp Ashraf residents will by the attempts of Tehran’s mullahs and Maliki’s government to export their internal crisis abroad. Khamenei, the supreme leader, is preparing the grounds in Iran’s internal political scene to annul the presidency and appoint a prime minister that is chosen by the Majlis (parliament). This will anger president Ahmadinejad who is already preparing his son-in-law’s father for the next presidency.
Considering the new measures that are taking place around Ashraf, the Iranian Resistance has warned about the dangers of these actions that are paving the path for another bloodbath in Ashraf. It has called on the US President and Secretary of State; UN Secretary General, High Representative for Refugees and High Commissioner for Human Rights; EU High Representative Baroness Ashton and EU Special Envoy for Camp Ashraf Ambassador Jean Du Ruyt for urgent action to have UN forces assume Ashraf residents’ protection to prevent a more widespread massacre in comparison to April 8th that is already predictable.
