Heidar al-Molla, spokesman of the Iraqiya Coalition and Iraqi Parliament Human Rights Council welcomed the appointment of an EU special envoy for Ashraf.
“The appointment of a special envoy for Ashraf by the European Union is a positive step in the path of resolving the Ashraf residents crisis,” al-Molla said, “and such a measure will prevent a repeat of attacks against them by Nouri Maliki’s forces.”
