
Iranians supporters of the Iranian Resistance held a demonstration in New York against presence of Ahmadinejad in UN General Assembly in which a number of US Congressmen and prominent personalities participated and asked for Ahmadinejad’s expulsion from the United Nations.
Ed Towns, William Lacey Kelly, Al Green, Joseph Crowley, Anthony D. Weiner, Sam Graves, Steve Israel, Vito J. Fossella, Lincoln Diaz-Balart , the United States Congressmen from both Republican and Democrat Party , in their messages to the demonstration, called Ahmadinejad a murderer, criminal and terrorist and strongly condemned his acceptance to New York.
Also a number of officials and members of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) were present.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, in a message to the New York demonstration, said:” Acceptance of director of the mullahs’ executive power to the UN headquarter is an aspect of stupendous West policy’s contradiction which introduces the Iranian ruling regime as the most important threat for world’s peace and security and at the same time recommends continuation of appeasement and negotiation with it.”
The demonstrators in New York asked the world community to condemn the mullahs’ regime’s atrocities and support Marym Rajavi’s third option for democratic change in Iran.
