Adnan Dulaimi: Missile attack on Ashraf City, sign of weakness of mullahs’ regime against Iranian Resistance

The Conference of Ahal al-Iraq, headed by Dr. Adnan al-Dulaimi, in a statement, called the missile attack on Ashraf City “a bold aggression against Iraq’s sovereignty” and a new sign of weakness and frustration against the Iranian Resistance and strongly condemned it.

The statement reads: We were informed that on Monday May 26, in an inhuman act in contrast to all international conventions, Tehran attacked the Ashraf city with missiles.

Missile attack against the people who are under international law and Geneva conventions is a flagrant violation of international law and ignorance of human rights standards. It is also a bold aggression against Iraq’s sovereignty.

The Conference of Ahal al-Iraq seriously condemns this measure and asks the Iraqi government to get rid of all Iran affiliated networks in Iraq. We ask the UN Security Council and the MNF-I to consider and condemn this action.

We remind that the residents and refugees of Ashraf, who have been in Iraq for years, are the guests of Iraqi people and are part of the great family of Iraq. We are well aware why Tehran’s regime commits such an action on the verge of removal of the PMOI from the terror list.

In a condition that terrorism and sectarian sedition of the mullahs’ regime has failed in Iraq, such aggressions against the resistance of oppressed Iranian people is a new sign of weakness and frustration among those who committed this crime.
