INTV, 20 Oct 2013 – During the past few days a number of Iranian Resistance supporters from various cities across Australia have joined the gathering of the hunger strikers and protesters in Melbourne to express their solidarity and support, and to raise their voice against the injustice imposed against Ashraf and Liberty residents.
These supporters and friends of the Iranian Resistance came from various cities including Sydney and Canberra. A representative from the Canberra Grace Church came to the protest camp in Melbourne along with Dr. Bergman who is a strong supporter of the Iranian Resistance and Mr. Dave Green from the Workers Union Center.
On the 22nd day of the Melbourne hunger strike and protest the participants chanted slogans and emphasized their will to continue this campaign until the seven Ashrafi hostages are released, security is provided for Camp Liberty residents and UN blue-helmet forces are stationed in Liberty.
