2000 workers of Sugar Cane Factory rallied to protest deaths of two colleagues

More than 2,000 workers of the Sugar Cane Factory of Haft-Tappeh in Khuzestan province, along with their wives and children staged a large demonstration in protest of death of two workers due to poverty and dire living condition.

The demonstrators chanted “We are Haft-Tappeh workers, we are hungry, hungry”, “hungry wife and child, don’t have patience” and ” Good living conditions are our inalienable right “.
Women were in front rows of the demonstration; the participants blocked the T cross section of Haft-Tappeh- Shoosh as a show of protest.

The two workers who died of severe livelihood conditions two days ago were named Hassan Razavi and Mohsen Pour Mohammadi.
