Zaboul, Sistan and Balouchestan university students call for release of 7 Ashrafi hostages

INTV, 6 Nov 2013 – A group of students from the Free University of Zaboul stressed in a letter to US President Barrack Obama: “Currently, 7 Ashrafi hostages in the criminal Maliki’s prisons and we await  your actions for their release. Any silence and inaction will only be considered as an approval for this continuation of this hostage taking. We demand the immediate release of the Ashraf hostages – 6 women and a man – and urge you to do everything you can for their release.”
Students from the Zahedan Free University announced in a statement: “Over two months have passed and there is no news of the fate of the Ashrafi hostages. To this date the UN and US Government have taken no practical actions and without a doubt are mainly responsible for the lives of these hostages and must be accountable”.
Students from the Sistan and Balouchestan University announced in a statement: “We, a group of students from the University of Sistan and Balouchestan in Iran, demand the release of 6 women and a man, members of the PMOI at Ashraf, who were taken hostage on September 1, 2013 by Maliki’s forces in a criminal attack against Ashraf. They are in captivity in Maliki’s prisons.”
