INTV, 5 Oct 2013 – Youths in Tehran who had gone to the Azadi Stadium to see a match between club Esteghlal and South Korea clashed with the regime’s repressive anti-riot unit. They chanted “Death to Dictator”.
These agents prevented the youth from using a tunnel leading to the special place in the stadium always used by Esteghlal fans. The forces even resorted to firing bird shots and attacking the youths with batons.
The angry youths fought back and neglected the threats of bird shots.
