Youngsters used by mullahs to attack protesters in Tehran

NCRI, 09 July 2009 – Eye witnesses reported that the regime deployed youngster between 12 and 18 to attack demonstrators in Tehran today. These youngsters were seen among paramilitary Basij agents in Enghelab Square, Ferdowsi Square and Hafez Street. They used batons and truncheons and wore camouflage uniforms.
The young Basiji agents were in groups of 30 to 40 and were seen to be commanded by two or three older plainclothes agents.
Eye witnesses also reported that the suppressive agents hit the demonstrators with batons mostly on their heads and faces, inflicting heavy injuries.
