Tehran:
More than a 1000 member of the Iranian Gonabadi Darawish community launched a hunger strike in solidarity with the Darawish inmates in Evin, Gohardasht and Shiraz’s Nezam prisons. Hamid Reza Moradi, Farshid Yadollahi, Mostafa Daneshju, Amir Islami, Omid Behruzi, Mostafa Abdi, Reza Entesari, Afshin Karampour and Kasra Nuri are Darawish prisoners on hunger strike. On Wednesday it was announced that Abdul-Ghafour Ghalandari Nezhadi has joined the Darawish hunger strikers.

Lorestan:
Darawish Gonabadi community members living in Iran’s Lorestan Province have called for a gathering on March 8th outside the regime’s prosecutor’s office in Tehran. This gathering was in protest to the inhumane measures of the mullahs’ regime with Darawish lawyers and other political prisoners. According to a report filed by this source Darawish Gonabadi community members in other prisons have expressed their support of the gathering of families of prisoners jailed in Evin. This gathering was held outside the regime’s prosecutor’s office.
