The protests of various sectors of the society against the suppressive and predatory policies of the clerical regime continue across Iran:
In Mehdishahr, Semnan (northeastern Iranian city), the workers of Pakris Factory staged strike in protest of unpaid salaries and postponed demands. Deprived workers of this factory haven’t received any salaries since February 2008. They stopped the production line.
In Arak, central Iranian city, more than 200 workers blocked the main Tehran-Arak highway for several hours in protest against dismissal of workers and uncertainty of their situation. The suppressive State Security Force agents attacked the workers and prevented them from continuing of their strike.
In Ardakan, Yazd, central Iran, The workers of conglomerate factory gathered besides the governorate building to protest their unpaid salaries and extra working hours.
In Kerman, southern Iranian city, some of trainers of the driving institutes gathered in front of the governorate building and blocked the street ending to protest lack of insurance service and low rate of driving training.
In Zahedan, mullah Bijari, Friday Prayer Imam of Chahardah Maasoum Mosque, was shot and injured by two motorcyclists on Sunday night. He was hospitalized.
