US undersecretary of state, Wendy Sherman said in a Senate banking committee hearing that the US policy in respect to the Iranian regime has not changed. The President has made it clear that Iran won’t be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons… the US would engage in any measure by the Iranian regime that would destabilize the region. Iranian regime would have to bear responsibility for its terrorist action. This regime continues to support terrorism and our sanctions would remain in place.
