Iran, May 19, 2017— As many independent observers from different cities in the country report, the voters’ apathy is quite obvious and people have decided largely to stay home on the election day.
The PMOI/MEK has stationed its observer at most of the 63000 polling station around the country to report the true and reliable voters’ participation on this election day.
The following figures corroborated by photos show that not many people as the government is trying to pretend, have left the comfort of their homes to wait in lines to cast their ballots.
• At the Karaj Mosque voting station at 9:25, only a handful of voters were visible. MEK observers saw only one man coming to the voting station at a time which showed people have stuck to the boycott of the elections.

• There were only 6 people in Shariati Street mosque voting station; there weren’t anyone outside the station cuing for the elections. But according to the MEK independent observer station near the polling station, everywhere was full of Security officers.

According to reports received in Roudsar city, Northern Iran, there are no voters at the polling station on the Martyrs street, there were only three to four people in the polling station present at 10 a.m. local time.

The PMOI/MEK observer at the Nabi Mosque in the city of Kerman polling station reported that there were only 9 people waiting to cast their ballots at 9 a.m. local time. But there were some 10 security officers guarding around the above polling station
