US refused visas for Iranian regime parliament members

A member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) admitted the US refused to issue entry visas for him and others to accompany Ahmadinejad to New York during the 66th Annual UN General Assembly.
“I was supposed to accompany the president in his trip to New York, but our foreign ministry declared that the US refused to issue entry visa for me,” Majlis member Javad Karimi Ghodsi from the city of Mashhad said.
“45 days ago, the foreign ministry had asked the Majlis National Security and Foreign Affairs Commission’ to introduce a member to accompany the president on his trip to New York,” he added. “I was chosen to go with Ahmadinejad on this particular trip.”
“Preparations were being made, but two days prior to the departure, the foreign ministry informed me that the US government had refused to issue a visa for me,” Ghodsi said.
Other members of the Iranian regime’s Majlis were also denied entry visas to the US.
