The Wall Street Journal wrote in a recent piece that US lawmakers, Republicans and Democrats, have said this week that their support of a nuclear agreement with Iran depends on how outstanding issues are resolved, including how international inspections are carried out to verify Iran abiding by its commitments.
Eliot Engel, the ranking Democratic member of the US House Foreign Relations Committee said it is necessary to have immediate access to all sites in order to detect any intention by Iran to cheat.
