AFP, Washington, 4 Jan 2012 – The United States said Wednesday it is ‘very good news’ that European Union governments have reached a preliminary deal to impose an oil embargo against Iran.
State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland summed up the agreement as ‘very good news and the result of lots of consultations among us, between the US and EU countries.’
