In Iran sanctions news, the US government fined a United Arab Emirates company providing sea transportation services on charges of violating US sanctions against Iran. This company provided support in transferring around 2,300 computer motherboards to Iran in violation of US sanctions.
The US Treasury Department said this UAE company must pay a fine of $40,000 for cooperating with an Iranian airliner company which is currently in the US government blacklist.
