In the Iran nuclear issue, US National Security Advisor Susan Rice said Washington is determined to not allow Tehran obtain nuclear weapons. US’ goal is obvious in reaching a comprehensive and verifiable agreement to guarantee Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful, she said, adding two points must be made specifically clear: the US will never accept a bad and non grata agreement under any conditions, even if it means not reaching an agreement at all; the second is to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
