US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter said on Thursday in a meeting with US forces in Iraq that he remains concerned on Iran’s evil activities in the Middle East, including Iraq.
We will maintain the military option, being the alternative of the nuclear agreement with Iran, he added, saying the nuclear agreement will not resolve all the problems in this corner of the globe, including problems stemming from Iran. However, the military option remains on the table, the American defense chief concluded.
