USF-I spokesman General Jeffrey Buchanan warned about the probability of attacks against the US Embassy in Iraq by Iranian regime-backed insurgents following the US forces departure from this country, al-Sharqiya TV reported.
Buchanan said in case such attacks occur it will receive a strong response. He stressed targeting the US Embassy will be tantamount to violating the Iraqi sovereignty and damaging diplomatic relations between the two countries.
