UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Violations in Iran Ahmed Shaheed condemned the apprehension of six youths by the mullahs’ regime and obtaining forced confessions from them.
These six youths were arrested by the mullahs’ repressive agents on charges of producing a video clip named ‘Happy’ and placing it on YouTube.
The UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Violations in Iran issued a statement saying these individuals were forced by the mullahs’ regime to give confessions later aired on state TV.
Ahmed Shaheed said this is exactly an example of the restriction imposed on freedom of speech in Iran and the necessity to pay special attention to the human rights situation in this country.
