Based on a report from the Iran Free Workers Union, the workers of the Port Mahshahr Petrochemical Complex are continuing their strike after two weeks despite the Iranian regime’s empty promises. While these workers gathered each day in a square outside the company’s main office, the deputy governor of Mahshahr met the workers at their protest gathering and requested from them to return to their work. However, the workers announced the incentives they received in April of this year were insignificant, stressing on their main request of having all contract companies expelled from the complex.
