In an attempt to end the international embarrassment caused by reports on the killing of blogger Sattar Beheshti under torture, the mullahs’ regime declared he died of a natural death.
“Based on examinations conducted on the corpse of Sattar Beheshti, no sign of suffocation or poisoning was found on his body and in our opinion this individual lost his life due to a natural death,” said Ahmad Shojaii, head of the regime’s so called Forensics Organization.
“The bruises on his body may have been due to beatings, however, these bruises cannot be the cause of his death,” he added in a clear confession to Sattar Beheshti being tortured.
“Beheshti was suffering from heart disease and lost his life due to stress under interrogation,” he claimed.
Beheshti’s family had previously emphasized he was suffering from no illness at all.
