Reports from local and exclusive reporters indicate that the major Vali-Asr Ave. has turned in a battle ground between youth and the police and the sound of fireworks explosion can be heard all over the block.

Karaj, 1645 local time:

Youth are using the occasion of the festivities to hold the celebrations and light up fire crackers and squibs.

Kerman, 1610 local time:

The youth started the celebration at 1610 local time with lighting up fire crackers and firebombs on major intersection called Haft e-bagh and Kowthar Sq. despite the heavy presence of security forces who are there to prevent the festivities. The state security forces have blocked the roads leading to this square.

Boroujerd in Lorestan province, 1615 local time:

The sound of firebombs and firecrackers used by the youth can be heard around the city, the eyewitness reports.

Isfahan, 1625 local time:

Malik-Shahr city, one of Isfahan’s northern suburbs has been the scene of fire festivities. Youth are taking part in this celebration despite the repressive climate the government is spanning.

Urumiah, 1627 local time:

Areas around the Pol-Qorboon University and Shahriar district have been the scene of fire festival celebrations.

Ahwaz, 1630 local time:

The youth and residents are gathering around Ferdows girls’ high school and light up firecrackers and other assortments of the feast of fire celebration.

Tabriz, 1650 local time:

Different districts of the city are the scene of major end of the year Fire Festival. 

Shahr-Babak, Kerman, 1645 local time:

The sound of firecrackers can be heard around the city with the youth sending massages to one another calling on everybody to take part in this celebration in defiance of the regime efforts to ban the event.
