A number of the workers of “Tabriz Kaf” company gathered for the 2nd time in front of the governor’s building in eastern Azerbaijan to protest against their 28 months unpaid salaries.
The workers were carrying placards demanding to receive their salaries.
One of the protesters said: according to an agreement the authorities were supposed to pay us each month our current salary plus one month of unpaid wages from last 28 months, but we have received nothing. This incompliance happened at a time when the laborers stuck to their side of the bargain and did everything they could to keep the production line going, but due to lack of raw material the production lined was delayed for 20 days. But on the other side, the authorities didn’t keep their promise and their pledges.
